The Wellstone Clinic is a state-of-the-art private renal dialysis centre, developed by PEI (www.pei.ie) in 2005. The clinic, based in Parkmore, Galway is dedicated to the treatment of patients with chronic renal failure and was established to supplement and support the existing renal services being offered in the public health service.
Since its introduction, the clinic has grown from strength to strength. In 2009, following a joint venture between PEI and B. Braun, a new company B. Braun Avitum Ireland was formed to take over the day to day running of the clinic, and so strengthen its position in the community. The company now plans to establish further Clinics right across the country in the coming years.
In its short history, the Wellstone Clinic has built up a tremendous reputation, not just for its excellent facilities and high tech equipment, but also for the superb care it gives to each and every one of its patients.
As well as locally residing patients, Wellstone also caters for the needs of Holiday Patients.
