Patient care is at the core of the Wellstone Clinic’s philosophy. With this in mind the Clinic operates 6 days per week from 7.30 am. Patient planning and dialysis schedules take into account various factors, including where the patient lives, whether they work or have other commitments and their level of dependency.
Wellstone Clinics use the Gambro Exalis system (AK200s ultra machines) in conjunction with Gambro lines, dialysers and needles. The Gambro dialysis system can offer conventional haemodialysis, on line Haemodiafiltration, High Flux dialysis, Blood Volume Monitoring together with dialysis performance measurements for quality assurance.
Complimentary dietary snacks will be provided to all patients. A dietician is also on hand to give advice and support to all patients.
Individual entertainment centres are provided at each patient station, from state of the art flat screen TV’s showing over 100 movies a month, satellite radio and satellite television.
The Wellstone Clinic provides an array of patient support information for both patients and their families / carer. These include advice on living with your condition, advice on dietary needs, exercise and medication.
Wellstone Clinics are centrally located in terms of city and nationwide access. There is extensive parking available at all locations. For those being transported by taxi/bus, there is also sufficient waiting space for drivers.
The Wellstone Clinic welcomes holiday patients from both Ireland and abroad.
